Sales Development Representative
Society needs plants. The United Nations estimates that 68% of the world’s population will live in cities by the year 2050. While living in city habitats has its perks, currently most cities are lacking plants which are contributors to healthy ecological systems. As a Sales Development Representative at Planticular, you will help to build a healthy ecosystem by getting people to use our services and become our clients.
What you’ll do:
research to identify prospective clients and their needs
communicate with prospective clients via phone, email, and in-person
take direction from CEO about sales prioritization
contribute to workshops for creating marketing materials, campaigns, and process improvements
For this role you’ll need to be:
or become knowledgeable (we can help) about plants, plantscaping, & ecology
gregarious (likes interacting and talking with different people for many hours each day)
curious and creative about how to effectively communicate
interested in researching and learning about our clients and prospective clients
goal and action oriented around setting metrics and tracking progress
organized and capable of showing your process
empathetic towards prospective clients even if they decide against using our services
