Gardening/Landscaping Assistant
Planticular is a care startup based out of Soho seeking motivated office manager to assist in early growth of the company. We are quickly acquiring clients which include offices, bars, and restaurants in the NYC metro area. The scope of the company is wide ranging, and includes installations, elements of landscaping and interior design, plant sales, recurring maintenance, and premium residential plant care services.
We are looking for someone comfortable taking on a wide range of administrative tasks including billing, supporting sales, supporting management, and onboarding new employees. We are also seeking an individual who does not mind helping out on site with clients and installations. For this element of the job, we prefer that applicants have some landscaping or other installation experience, as well as the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Applicants should have a positive attitude and good people skills as responsibilities include interacting with existing and prospective clients as we try to grow our brand. Commission pay is also available for sales work, and overtime pay is available as well.
Primary tasks
Making excel spreadsheets.
Helping out with design and installation of plants
Watering plants and general maintenance
Making store trips to pick up/order plants and plant related goods
Interact with our caretaker staff to document process improvements
Speaking with clients and managing logistics
Drafting emails and monitoring communication
This job offers experience in small business development, landscaping, interior design, and marketing. If there is a particular skillset you are looking to develop, there will be opportunities to grow that experience. Employees will make connections with high end clients and travel to unique locations throughout the city.
